2026 Annual Meeting of the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana
Dear Members & Guests of the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana,
June 16th, 2026, is the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana.
We are pleased to invite you to join us at the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne for this important event.
We are honored to announce that our guest speaker will be Andy Zay, Commissioner of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
Andy Zay was appointed to the Commission on January 12th, 2026, by Governor Mike Braun.
Previously, Zay represented Indiana Senate District 17, which included all of Grant, Huntington, and Wabash counties, starting in 2016. During his time in the Senate, Zay was a ranking member of the Senate Committee on Environmental Affairs and served on the Senate Committees on Commerce and Technology; Pensions and Labor; and Utilities.
Chairman Zay is a graduate of Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs and, in May 2023, received a Master's from the School. He owns and operates Zay Leasing and Rentals, Inc. in Huntington, which was founded in 1953.
Outside of work, Zay served on and has supported the Regional Board of Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana for 20 years and is involved with local school and church development committees. His hobbies include being outdoors, spending time with his family, and enjoying his kids' sporting events.
He and his wife, Cindy, live in Huntington and have three sons, two daughters, and four grandchildren.
